This weekend is the Young Marines trip to Pensacola to see the Blue Angels and tour the Naval Air Station Museum.  They will be leaving at 0630 on Saturday morning from AMC 16 theater at 16040 Hatters Ave. Baton Rouge, La. 70816. They will return on Sunday afternoon.  Parents will be contacted with a precise time of our arrival after they hit the road Sunday.  They will also spend Saturday afternoon at the Beach.  All parents will need to sign a release on Saturday morning in order for their YM to participate.    Ed Davis's personal cell is 225-273-1700.

PORT HUDSON NATIONAL CEMETERY

The ceremony is to honor our fallen heroes. At the end of the ceremony flowers are going to be placed on the graves of our fallen heroes to show they are gone but never forgotten! Speakers will each give a speech before placing of the flowers. A local JROTC will present the colors. This is going to be a beautiful ceremony. All are welcomed! Veterans will be putting flowers on the graves and give life back to those who are gone! This hopefully can give healing to some as well. The ceremony will be held by the old administration side of the Port Hudson National Cemetery in the middle of the grounds by sidewalk near the flag pole.
